
Taste ATL: The Series is honoring Womxn of Color in TV History for Womxn’s History Month! Phylicia Rashad (Singer, Actor, Director, Humanitarian). Rashad, who received Emmy Award nominations in 1985 and 1986 for her role as Claire Huxtable on The Cosbys has been dubbed the “Mother of the Black Community.” She was the First Black Actress to win the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for her role in “A Raisin in the Sun.” That same role earned her the NAACP Image Award. Let’s give it up for for Phylica Rashad y’all!
